Wafer shipping box/ Wafer Cassette
Wafer Shipping Boxes, also known as Wafer Cassettes, are available in two primary materials — metal and Teflon (PTA). Each box can be customized in size and specification to meet diverse semiconductor process requirements. These boxes are mainly used in cleanroom environments to safely transport wafers during production. Wafers are placed inside the shipping box and loaded into processing equipment, preventing direct contact and avoiding contamination.
For high-temperature semiconductor processes, metal wafer shipping boxes are preferred. They feature anti-slip clasps and secure locking rods that hold wafers firmly in place, preventing movement or damage during transfer and thermal processing.
In acidic or alkaline environments, Teflon wafer shipping boxes are ideal. Their chemical-resistant design keeps wafers stable while reducing acid or alkali residue after processing.
YJ Stainless offers both metal and Teflon wafer shipping boxes, combining precision engineering, high durability, and customizable design to ensure safe, efficient, and contamination-free wafer handling throughout semiconductor manufacturing.
